This package is intended for private sector organizations and Non-Government Organisations that wish to become partners with us in this historic undertaking. Our core sponsors have built and given us Gaualofa, fund the equipment, paid for the crew's and skipper's training as well as for most of the provisioning. Still the cost for maintenance of the va'a and our future voyages as well as our environmental and cultural projects exceed this funds.

Monies acquired through these means will be used in various ways:

• to further our environmental conservation efforts
• to further our cultural education initiatives.
• to train crew members (physically, practical and Maritime education)
• to finalize the purchase of the Va’a ‘Gaualofa’ by the Samoa Voyaging Society
• to look after the operational cost of the Va’a (food, fuel, maintenance, charts and training material)
• to facilitate a small salary for active, full time core crew members

Because of the traditional nature of the Va’a ‘Gaualofa’ we do not allow for display of corporate signage on the Va’a (sails, body, etc.). As such, all Corporate donors will be acknowledged during media and public events as well as our website. Corporate Sponsors may also use the Va’a for a single day voyage. Such an experience is available for up to 20 people and makes for an excellent team building platform and adventure.

We greatly value the support of our sponsors for without your support these voyages would not be possible. We will be diligent in ensuring that you’re looked after properly.

There are different options for sponsoring:

·         Diamond Partner (WST $15,000 or greater)

·         Gold Partner (WST $10,000 or greater)

·         Silver Partner (WST $5,000 or greater)

·         Bronze Partner (WST $1,000 or greater)

We accept any size donation, big or small.  We are currently working on a paypal account, but in the meantime, below are our Voyaging Society bank account details where all donations can be made.
